NEVEL! - Vice Versa

The Ghent-based trio NEVEL! expands their musical universe with their latest single, Vice Versa.

Following their mysterious debut with the acclaimed single Contrast, one gets a deeper glimpse into the twilight world of NEVEL!. The trio consists of experienced musicians Robbe Malschaert (BLUAI), Arno Grootaers (Dishwasher_), and Tuur Geldhof (Frans Kalf). In their collaboration, they unite sounds from deep corners of the human psyche, wandering into dream worlds. Vice Versa is a floating ambient track in which atmospheric soundscapes are enhanced by sensitive guitar melodies and soft, driving drums. The work begins like a floating dream, disorienting and hypnotic. Like a walk through a dark forest, where the silhouettes of the melody reveal themselves. The bass gives it a deep grounding, while the distorted guitar effects lurk beneath the surface like corrosion. As the track progresses, the otherworldly soundscapes transform into a hopeful, determined whole.
