Ronny Wondr - CLOUDS (Indifferent remix)

Ronny Wondr tackles "Clouds," a track by Momoyo that he originally played drums on himself. When Ronny remixes, he leaves nothing of the original. He stripped the track down to just the vocals. From there, he started over: new groove, new chord progression, new structure. Once again, he played all the instruments himself. The result is more than a remix; it's a true Ronny Wondr track. Danceable and funky.

Initially, Ronny Wondr made hip-hop beats from samples of old soul, funk and jazz records. From his love for playing live he evolved to a more organic approach, based on his own drum grooves. In his new tracks he plays all the instruments himself, but still grafted on the tradition of hip hop, funk and soul.
