To fix a heart with words is a song about accepting that not all your dreams will come true, and that that's perfectly okay. It's important to dream, but it's equally important to recognize the valuable things around you in time. Jonas wrote this song after a conversation with his four-year-old godchild. "I fear the feeling that I do belong somewhere, and that somewhere could be here someday," goes the chorus. It's one of the most important lessons of growing up: that the place you long for might be where life has already unknowingly taken you. To Fix a Heart With Words is a song about coming home to yourself and learning to be content with what you have.

Home is just a state of mind will be released on January 30th on Wellington Records. It's a coming-of-age album that reflects on the turbulent period between their twenties and thirties.
