"Home Is Just a State of Mind" is a coming-of-age album that reflects on the turbulent period between your twenties and thirties. It's an album about losing people, making choices, and getting to know yourself. On this album, Momoyo returns to their core: a pure sound, live and close to themselves. The most unforgivingly personal and effortless music they've made so far. At the same time, "Home Is Just a State of Mind" is, as usual, occasionally danceable. Driving grooves, summery guitars, drawling harmonies, and rousing vocals: if we're going to perish, let's go down dancing.
The first singles, "Clouds," "When the Morning Comes," and "Spanish Song from the 90s," were released in the fall of 2025. You may have already heard the latest single, "To Fix a Heart with Words," on Radio 1 in recent weeks. Also important to the band is "My Sister Slept," a song Jonas wrote for his sister, who passed away thirty years ago.
Ten percent of the proceeds from "Home Is Just a State of Mind" will go to Fundación Natura, a reforestation project in Colombia.
