Foutloos - Speelkleeren

On Friday, April 3, Speelkleeren, the new single by ᖴOᑌTᒪOOᔕ, will be released.

Sometimes it is allowed to simply be melancholic. Speelkleeren is a track that starts atmospherically and then slowly builds into a dreamy interplay of viola, drums, and bass. It is an instrumental retrospective on a – seemingly – carefree childhood and the way you form memories. In Speelkleeren, Foutloos takes its time. No wild waves this time, but a gentle ripple.

In the video, you see Esther, Renaud, and Jonas in play clothes, two decades ago. It is a compilation of old VHS tapes, edited in such a way that the memories fade, blend, and distort. Just like the song, the music video explores how the memory of your youth constructs its own.

ᖴOᑌTᒪOOᔕ is an instrumental trio consisting of Esther Coorevits (Tourist LeMC, Nemø ensemble), Jonas Bruyneel (momoyo, Philemon, Vincent Coomans), and Renaud Debruyne (Mirek Coutigny, Mergel). In Foutloos, atmospheric viola improvisations combine with funky bass lines and sharp hip-hop grooves. Foutloos has played shows in Belgium, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom and will be artist in residence at De Grote Post in 2026.
