Foutloos - Mierador

What happens when you put the initiative in the hands of the drummer? Mierador started with a lazy, languid bass line that Renaud accidentally played at double speed. Expect a wild blend of trap and jazz, with the occasional change of tempo and the necessary sense of drama. For those who are not from the coast: a Mierador is that high chair from which the lifeguard keeps an eye on the coastline and bathers every summer.

Foutloos is an instrumental trio consisting of Esther Coorevits (Nemø ensemble, Tourist LeMC), Jonas Bruyneel (momoyo, Philemon, Vincent Coomans) and Renaud Debruyne (Mirek Coutigny, Mergel). In Foutloos, atmospheric improvisations on the viola go hand in hand with funky bass lines and sharp hip-hop grooves.
