Gevaarluk, the fourth single from ᖴOᑌTᒪOOᔕ, was released on Friday, October 3rd.
In Gevaarluk, Foutloos cuts corners. After a relaxed, lazy groove and a tight, bombastic break, drummer Renaud departs, leaving violist Esther and bassist Jonas to their own devices. Will they find each other again? All of Gevaarluk.
ᖴOᑌTᒪOOᔕ is an instrumental trio consisting of Esther Coorevits (Tourist LeMC, Nemø ensemble), Jonas Bruyneel (momoyo, Philemon, Vincent Coomans), and Renaud Debruyne (Mirek Coutigny, Mergel). In Foutloos, atmospheric improvisations on the viola blend with funky bass lines and sharp hip-hop grooves. Foutloos has played shows in Belgium, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom and will be artist in residence at De Grote Post in 2026.
