Dead Poet Warrior Zone is an American band from Seattle that played from 1991 to 1999 and consisted of singer/guitarist Chad Diver, bassist Roberto Zambra, and drummer Kris Mendez. Dead Poet Warrior Zone recorded five albums in its short career, but it is primarily the illegal bootlegs that achieved cult status. They are a unique testament to the energy with which the band made a name for itself in performances that sometimes ran for hours. The song "When The Roots Don’t Hold" grew into a cult hit.
